Desmond Jackson

Bio

Coach Jackson enters his 9 year in Coaching and 1st year at Royse City as he will serve the Defensive Line. As a Houston native out of high school, Jackson was a Former Under Armour all American as a player (2011) Rated as the Top D-Lineman in his class in the State of Texas and Rated as high as #2 in his position in the country. A five-year defensive tackle who played in 52 career games with 21 starts at The University of Texas at Austin… finished his career with 122 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 16.5 tackles for loss, 10 pressures, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. Earning second-team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2015. Coach Jackson has earned his bachelor’s in applied learning and development and his Masters in curriculum and instruction. Jackson was also selected as a coach for the 2025 Under Armour All America Game, coaching the defensive line. Along with his significant other Londyn, Jackson has one Daughter ( Cree Alesia Henry-Jackson) and two dogs named Zeus and bubba.
