Desmond Jackson

Bio

Coach Jackson enters his 10 year in Coaching and 2nd year at Royse City as he will serve the Defensive Line. As a Houston native out of high school, Jackson was a Former Under Armour all American as a player (2011) Rated as the Top D-Lineman in his class in the State of Texas and Rated as high as #2 in his position in the country. A five-year defensive tackle who played in 52 career games with 21 starts at The University of Texas at Austin… finished his career with 122 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 16.5 tackles for loss, 10 pressures, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. Earning second-team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2015. Coach Jackson has earned his bachelor’s in applied learning and development and his Masters in curriculum and instruction. Jackson was also selected as a coach for the Under Armour All America Game three years in a row, coaching the defensive line. His previous stops are as follows: 2017-18 Lutheran High North (Houston,TX). Graduate Assistant at the University of Houston 2019-2021. Allen High School (Allen, TX) 2022 and Lakeview Centennial (Garland,TX) 2022-2025. Along with his significant other Londyn, Jackson has one Daughter ( Cree Alesia Henry-Jackson).
